Sustainers – Student Empowerment

There can be no doubt that a lot of demand for climate action at schools has come from the students themselves. Why not start up a Sustainers student led group at school? Let students self-determine what climate actions the school should lead on? T&D can potentially provide a project budget for you in collaboration with businesses signed to CCCA. This year we have been working very closely with Parliament Hill Girls School on the launch of their feminist orchard and the rewilding of the school. The students planted a wildflower meadow and feminist orchard. The students held school assemblies to choose which feminists the trees should be named after. This project has cross-pollinated across the school, and involved lots of school subjects from D.T. to Geography.
